Don Yitzhak Sacramental is named in honor of the Abarbanel family’s most illustrious ancestor, Don Yitzhak Abarbanel. New Don Yitzhak Sacramental is a wine that very much celebrates the roots of both the Jewish people and of kosher wines. Produced at a new winery in Kiryat Arba, overlooking Hevron in the Judean Hills, this wine is made in close proximity to Marat HaMachpelah, the Tomb of the Patriarchs – burial site of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Leah and Rebecca. A deliciously super-smooth sweet wine made 100 percent from Carignan grapes, Don Yitzhak is both traditionally sweet and elegant at one and the same time. Mevushal. Under triple hashgachot (certifications) of the O-U, the Badatz of Yorei Deiah (Rav Shlomo Machpud) and the Rabbinate of Kiryat Arba. We recommend Don Yitzhak with sweet noodle kugel and cholent. Great in Passover charoset. Made in one liter bottles with twist-off screw-caps! |
